Subject: How meaningful are drug tests in powerlifting?
I was reading the Wikipedia entry on Bench Press, and in the
discussion area, a user cites some e-mails from a Steve Denison of the
IPF. If you go most of the way down the page you can see where he
states:

"With the IPF you can always know a big lift was drug tested. It
doesn't need to say it...

Steve Denison"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Bench_press#Assisted

Anyone know what they test for and how reliable the tests are in the
IPF or any powerlifting association? How easy or difficult to beat?

Depends on the federation. IPF tests all world records to WADA
standards. Other feds don't test at all.
